The wind pump kit is designed for pumping water from a depth of up to 70 meters at isolated locations in all climates. Many of the problems associated with traditional wind pumps that often need a strong starting wind can now be over come by using the Rutland wind pump that pumps at low wind speed.

The pump kit is based on the established Rutland 913-wind charger that is connected to Shurflo submersible DC electric pump via an interface controller. Since the controller also accepts power input from solar panels, a combined wind/solar system will be ideal to use in places at the coast where during the rainy season we get good wind but poor sunshine, and during the dry season it is the opposite. This will take a full advantage of the available power both day and night.

The Rutland wind/solar pump kit can be employed to provide potable water for isolated communities, drainage, livestock watering and irrigation on farms.

“Smart” interface linear current boosting controller allows the pump to start working in low wind speed. It also monitors the voltage produced by the Wind charger, protecting the Pump from over voltage.

You can run the pump using solar power only if the area is sunny or operate the pump using the wind charger independently if your area is windy. To take the full advantage of the free available energy a combination of the two will greatly increase the pump performances by pumping more water both day and night.

Rutland 913 wind charger.
2 pcs 50-watt Solar panels
DC electric submersible pump.
Weather proof interface controller and bracelets for pole or
    wall mounting.
Float switch.
Portable water hose 30m and electrical cable 50m.
Support rope of 25m, cable ties, fixing etc.
Two angle frames on 4m Galvanized metal post
